It is a site-specific piece that evokes the memory of Pier Paolo Pasolini through poetry, local participation, dance, and performance. The piece is based on a symbolic concept: each word is a stone in his body, a tangible way to keep that memory alive. In this way, the words take on weight and a physical presence, helping to construct and bring to light the poet’s living memory. The goal is to create an experience where the audience not only observes but also actively participates in the reconstruction of this poetic body, becoming an accomplice in a shared theatrical ritual.
The project was launched with support from Injuve’s 2022/2023 Grants for Young Artists and, since then, has toured various performance venues, adapting to each context. In addition, it branches out into other forms of expression to deepen the experience: a travel journal, a fanzine, and a photography project in collaboration with artist Blanca Martín Secades, which extends Pasolini’s poetics through analog imagery.
